Overview: With good aquarium suitability, Juncus repens has become one of the popular aquatic plants of genus Juncus. The plant is native to southern and eastern USA. Coming from rush family Juncaceae, the plant can be seen creeping on the edges of the ponds and lakes. The plants love to abode on marshy shallow water where they get plenty of nutrient rich substrate. However, when grown in the aquarium they are easy to care and maintain. Due to the apt size aquarists can use them as foreground, middle ground or background plant in the aquarium. It is the reason why J. repens is considered as the best filler plant for the aquariums that can also be used between stones while aquascaping.
Appearance: J. repens is a creeping rush which looks like a stem and rosulate plant at the same time. Being a grass-like marsh plant, it makes a perfect aquarium plant to give an aesthetic look to the tank. It can grow submerged or completely immersed under water. The regularly distanced narrow leaves are green which may turn slightly reddish in color when a good supply of micro-nutrients and light are provided. It is a slow grower, so you don’t have to worry about regular pruning or trimming.
Hard/soft Plant: Hard plant
Ideal water temperature: The perfect range of temperature for J repens is between 10- 30 °C.
Lightening conditions: It requires a good supply of light for the leaves to show their real colors. Moreover, soft water with a good supply of carbon dioxide promotes the growth of the plant as well.
Ideal pH level: pH between the range of 5-7 is considered the best for the plant to flourish.
Do you know: You may propagate J repens through cuttings, splitting or by cutting off the daughter plants. It is considered one of the best aquatic plants for decoration purposes and aquascaping.
The order took some time to get processed but the plants delivered were very healthy and almost the same as the pictures displayed. Very happy with the plants received.

At first, I was little skeptical about ordering water plants online, but took a leap of faith and landed on the bouncy bunny. I usually don't write reviews but bunnycart's service is good. The plants were nicely packed and healthy. Have ordered another lot from them, thinking of ordering guppies too once I've cycled the tank.
