Echinodorus Ozelot Green

Moreover, they are heavy root feeders; therefore, the requirement of nutrient-dense soil becomes essential. Appearance: The bold and bigger leaves with red-brown spots make Ozlet Green Sword an excellent solitary plant to grow in the tank. You can also grow it properly spaced as a middle or backdrop plant. It shows slow and compact growth as compared to the other varieties of the same species. The brightly colored green and red spots with the wavy leaves pattern make the plant the center of attraction. It can grow submerged or fully immersed and produces small white flowers above the water surface. Ozelet Green Sword can attain the height between 8 - 18”.

Ideal water temperature: It requires a temperature between the range of 18 to 22 degree Celsius.

Lightening conditions: Moderate lighting conditions are preferable for the plant to thrive well in the tank and keep sprouting the new weeks weekly. Carbon dioxide supplementation is not essential, but if given, will yield better growth. Nutrient-Rich soil is a must.

Ideal pH level: The ideal is pH between 6.0-8.0.
